Full-Stack Engineer
Eidra is a leading innovation company expanding in the U.S. market. We’re seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our product and technology group based in Chicago.
At Eidra, you’ll be a key member of cross-functional teams responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of secure, high-performing web applications — from architecture decisions through to delivery. We work across complex, real-world stacks and we care as much about how we build as what we build.
This role is based in Chicago (3 days onsite) and as part of Eidra’s expanding U.S. footprint, you’ll help establish our reputation for engineering excellence, strategy, and delivery in the American market. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Sponsorship is not being offered for this position.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Partner closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define solutions, and deliver with confidence.
Navigate complexity and ambiguity — translating technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Advocate for engineering best practices including Test-Driven Development, component-driven design, and clean architecture.
Contribute to Eidra’s growing U.S. engineering culture and standards.
Development & Architecture
Design and build scalable, secure web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js (App Router).
Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS.
Write clean, modern HTML5 and CSS3 with strong JavaScript fundamentals.
Apply in-depth knowledge of state management and API integration patterns.
Work with core GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and IAM.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Work with Storybook and design system concepts to ensure consistency across UI components.
Desired, But Not Required
Experience with Payload CMS.
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
Performance optimization experience.
Knowledge of third-party Fintech integrations (e.g. Sift, OneTrust, and other vendor SDKs).
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
Who You Are
6+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with a strong command of the modern web stack.
Comfortable owning work end-to-end — from architecture through deployment.
A collaborative engineer with a client-focused mindset and strong consulting instincts.
Curious, growth-oriented, and energized by complex problems and high-quality delivery.
Authorized to work in the United States.
